PSU State College Solar

MVE partnered with AEDG and Penn State to build this 2MW Solar Project on Orchard Road on a beautiful South Facing 25 degree sloped hill on Orchard Road, prominently located across the street from Beaver Stadium.  It’s estimated that since 2019 when the 2MW System was Commissioned that over 500,000 people have laid eyes on the System especially during those 6 Saturday’s in the Fall when over 100,000 fans fill Beaver Stadium.

Some of the unique aspects of this project was a commitment to partner with Penn State to conduct ongoing (R&D) Research and Development Programs to help Students and Faculty appreciate and extract the many potential benefits of a System of this Scale.  Notable R&D Programs underway:
