Tim Bollinger
CEO

From a young age Tim knew he wanted to be in business.  He helped to start ESCO Security at age 21. At that point he did everything from sales to installation to bookkeeping and more. At age 25 he had the opportunity to buy into Meadow Valley Electric and has enjoyed working being a partner of MVE Group for many years. Tim believes in being a lifetime learner and has acquired his electrical journeyman and masters licenses, NICET certifications, and various other training during his career. He spent a large portion of his career as CFO of the organization but has recently moved to the position of CEO. One of Tim’s strengths is the ability to lay out vision for the organization, and motivate his team members with it. His personal vision for MVE Group is to be the best electrical, security and energy contactor in the area. To Tim this means having the best customer service, having the most satisfied employees, and delivering the highest quality products. Tim encourages his employees that the bottom line shouldn’t be the most important focus. If we excel in the three areas listed above, the bottom line will take care of itself. Tim’s vision for the organization is to see it passed down to the next generation of leadership. He sees the organization continuing to grow, and he desires to see it continue beyond the original ownership. In 2009 he led the organization through the steps of implementing an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. He sees this increasing our employee dedication and work ethic even more. It’s a fact that when you own something you take even greater care of it; and he feels the ESOP is an important factor to MVE Group’s healthy growing future.

Jay Weaver
CFO

Jay began working at MVE Group as the Business Manager in 2002. In 2011, he took over the role as Chief Financial Officer. Jay’s responsibilities include budgeting, planning, and financial management. He enjoys analyzing costs and ensuring that we are a financially responsible organization which our customers and suppliers want to partner with. He highly supports MVE Group’s commitment to sustainability and cares about making smart decisions such as reducing our electrical usage. One change Jay assisted with in recent years was implementing MVE Group’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Additionally, the Board of Directors appointed Jay as a trustee of MVE Group’s ESOP which includes overseeing the ESOP trust and looking out for the best interest of all the employee owners. As the ESOP journey continues, Jay looks forward to seeing all MVE Group employees reach retirement with a sizeable retirement amount.
